Titilola Dawudu – Co-organiser & Event Lead

Titilola Dawudu is a writer, editor and theatre maker. She is a trustee for Theatre Centre and is an Associate Writer for Beyond Face in Plymouth. She was recently the Learning and Participation Manager at Ovalhouse Theatre, south London and she is currently the Programme Manager for Young People and Youthfulness for Coventry City of Culture.

Titilola is a speaker and panellist, particularly on subjects such as race, gender and belonging and inclusion in theatre. She is working with University Women in the Arts director, Jennifer Tuckett on a research survey from Cambridge University about women who study and work in the arts along with Sphinx theatre.

She mentors young women who are  early-career artists and recently won Mentor of the Year at the Women of the Future awards last December.

As a writer, Titilola has written for Titilola created and edited ‘Hear Me Now Audition Monologues for Actors of Colour’ with Tamasha Theatre and published by Oberon Books with a second volume is currently in development.
